REV UP FOR WE ARE AFRICA 2017 WITH GREAT PLAINS CONSERVATION
Think of an iconic safari image. Alongside the sundowners, campfire chats and of course, wildlife, we bet that the classic Land Rover car isn’t far behind, evoking glamorous daydreams of top-down game drives through the African wilderness. *grabs headscarf and huge sunglasses*
When it comes to iconic safari operators, Great Plains Conservation is up there with the superstars of the genre – so it’s no surprise that when embarking on their journey to We Are Africa 2017, they chose the Land Rover as the perfect symbol for their experience-driven offering. That’s right: to celebrate the power of transformative travel and bring it to the show floor, Great Plains Conservation have commenced a journey in their own Land Rover and are currently heading to We Are Africa 2017.
From now until the beginning of the show, you can chart the journey of the Great Plains Conservation Land Rover on our Twitter page or by following #GreatMomentsCount:

However, we’re all about sharing the excitement with our community – so from Tuesday 2 May, the Land Rover will transform into the Great Plains Conservation Photo Booth, positioned on the podium outside the show entrance on Tuesday morning and then pitchside for the rest of the week! As well as meeting the team from Great Plains Conservation, you and your tribal friends will get the chance to capture the moment alongside this iconic safari inspiration; share it on your Instagram or Twitter using #GreatMomentsCount; before taking home a printed polaroid photo to remember your experience.
If you’re interested in hearing more about Great Plains Conservation’s message about transformative travel, head over to their dedicated hospitality area on level 01 of Cape Town Stadium (stands E19 – E21), which will be decked out with its very own bar – see you for that early safari sundowner…?
